On this tour we will show you Glendalough's monastic site founded by St. Kevin in the 6th century. Monasteries are considered to have been the first universities in Ireland, as it is here where Kings and noblemen travelled from all over to be taught to write and learn a vast assortment of craftsmanship's. With its magnificent Round Tower, St. Kevin's Kitchen and hundreds of stories etched on the tombs of those buried here there is no shortage of magic to Glendalough.
